Booking terms

This is a plain-language summary of how KRO bookings work. The full terms sent with your booking confirmation prevail.

Booking and payment

• Prices are in euros and exclude VAT at 21%. Every quote shows the price, the VAT and the total before you confirm.
• Availability is confirmed personally by the KRO concierge before anything is paid.
• A 50% prepayment holds your time slot. It is paid securely through Viva.com and charged in RON at the official BNR exchange rate. KRO does not store card details.
• When you book online, your slot is held for 15 minutes while the prepayment is completed.
• You can also reserve through WhatsApp on +40 730 808 808, with no card payment upfront.
• Only the people and guests confirmed in the booking may drive or ride.
• Add-ons such as pickup, an exterior camera, security or group discounts are confirmed by the concierge where they apply.

Driving experiences

• You must be at least 25 years old, unless a vehicle-specific exception is approved, and have held a full driving licence for at least three continuous years.
• Your identity, licence, eligibility, sobriety and insurance are checked before you drive.
• A professional KRO pilot stays in the car whenever it is moving. This is a supervised experience, not an unsupervised rental.
• The pilot may give safety instructions, change the route, end the session or take the wheel for safety, road, weather, insurance or operational reasons.
• No security deposit is collected. You remain responsible for damage caused by prohibited or negligent conduct, fines, excess distance and other documented charges.
• Racing, drifting, burnouts, speed testing, track use without a separate agreement, driving under the influence, leaving the approved route and letting another person drive are not permitted.
• On 30, 45 and 60-minute sessions, no distance surcharge applies when the drive is lawful, stays within the booked time and approved area, and the pilot is present.

Chauffeur service

• Your confirmation lists the vehicle, the professional chauffeur, the agreed time window, the route and the services included.
• Route changes, waiting time, extra stops and extensions depend on availability, driver working-time rules and road conditions, and on any additional price confirmed before the change.
• Passengers wear seat belts and follow reasonable safety instructions.

Cancellations and changes

For driving experiences:

• More than 7 days before: full booking credit or a refund, minus any non-refundable third-party transaction cost disclosed before booking.
• 72 hours to 7 days before: one reschedule with no loss of the experience price, or a 75% refund of the experience price.
• 24 to 72 hours before: one reschedule with a 20% rebooking fee.
• Less than 24 hours before, or no-show: the experience price is non-refundable, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.

For chauffeur bookings, cancelling within the last 48 hours makes the prepayment non-refundable.

If KRO cancels because the booked vehicle category is unavailable or conditions are unsafe, you choose between rescheduling, credit or a refund for the affected service.
